British sea power – Squadron 65 Hardtop by Fairline Yachts
British luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Fairline Yachts, celebrated the start of the Cannes Yachting Festival earlier this year by showcasing an impressive line-up of Squadron and Targa models – including the world debut of the new Squadron 65 hardtop.
Visitors were able to experience some of Fairline’s most popular boats, including the new Squadron 65 hardtop, the Targa 53GT – launched to wide acclaim at the 2015 Southampton Boat Show – and the ever popular Targa 48 OPEN.
“Following the success of the Hardtop option on the Squadron 78, together with feedback from our customers and international dealer network, we are pleased to now offer this useful addition to the Squadron 65, which can be experienced for the first time at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. Cannes remains a very important show in the annual calendar for Fairline and we look forward to showcasing a selection of our most popular models and meeting customers current and future alike.” said Russell Currie, Managing Director at Fairline Yachts.
Squadron 65 – The perfectly proportioned boat is now available with a factory fitted hardtop with a built-in canvas, sliding sunroof and adjustable mood lighting.
Hand-crafted cabinetry and exquisite interior are classic hallmarks of Fairline’s Squadron range. The visual effect of the interior is further enhanced by the long, wide single-level interior is a testament to the 65’s ingenious flat floor design.
The spacious flybridge provides ample space with three distinct social areas: a forward cruising chaise longue and sun pad, aft facing sunbeds, and a seating/dining area, offer a truly enjoyable experience.
The design of the saloon area invites guests to interact freely and with the galley positioned at the heart of the yacht, entertaining is easy.
The master cabin enjoys a spacious, open plan ensuite. Further design options include either three additional cabins with ensuites or a three cabin/ensuite with day head or utility area.
The impressive 65-foot Squadron appears to go one step further than similar sized boats on every level – we are hopeful for seeing it grace either the London or Southampton Boat Show in 2017.
