Earlier this year Glashütte launched PanoMatic Luna – a ladies timepiece full of delicate detail.

It is easy to get enamoured with the dial with its multitude of visual overlays and the play of light on the mother of pearl dial and the whisper of lilac overprint. The off-centre arrangement of date, moon phase, seconds and hours enclosed in a heart shape gives the watch face a playful quality. The polished stainless steel bezel is enriched with 64 brilliant-cut diamonds to further the visual experience.

Kitted out with a purple soft Louisiana alligator leather strap, the watch looks very-very-very classy.

Sandwiched between front and back sapphire crystals is a Glasshütte Original manufactory automatic 90-12 movement. Beautifully finished movement with duplex swan-neck fine adjustment skeletonized rotor with 21ct gold oscillation weight, softly bevelled edges, polished steel parts, hand-engraved balance bridge with partial Perlage is a visual and mechanical delight.

The PanoMatic range includes several equally eye-catching and quite decadent models. A choice of dials in glistening white and enchanting red (Reference 1-90-12-05-30-01), an ethereal blue mother-of-pearl (Reference 1-90-12-03-12-02), an elegantly-sporty Tahiti mother-of-pearl evocative of a brewing storm (Reference 1-90-12-02-12-04) contrasted by an angelic blend of glistening whites (Reference 1-90-12-01-12-01).

The PanoMatic Luna seduces like the spell of the moon. The softly curving moon relief appears against a shimmering backdrop. The elegant curves awake as the result of skilfully performed diamond milling, which enhances the visual depth.
